1913 Colonial Revival
This 1913 Colonial Revival home was a special project. Due to the design and structure of the home, we worked within the parameters of the original kitchen footprint to transform this small-but-mighty kitchen into a storage and style powerhouse.
This space features period lighting, mixed metals and stunning brass cremone bolt hardware on the custom built-in china cabinet. The kitchen lacks nothing in storage, and our team was able to use every square inch of the space, even providing the clients with their much-desired drop zone just off the kitchen.
Our carpentry team re-used the original 100+ year old stair treads, painstakingly removed every nail and trace of residue, and repurposed the treads as shelving inside the custom bookcase in the back entry. Matte black tiles seamlessly flow with wood flooring into the kitchen.
A wall chalkboard adds a whimsical, vintage touch and provides a space for reminders, grocery lists, and original artwork. This house is now ready for the next 100 years of memories.
