This couple is planning ahead for their post-army lifestyle and is looking forward to spending more time at home. Their existing kitchen was small and galley-style, bi-sected by a large peninsula between the cooking and eating spaces.
Our team was proud to create a space that reflects some of the places they loved most from their travels, as well as a kitchen with greater overall function. The v-groove paneling received a coat of dark blue paint—a nod to places in England they've enjoyed. The patterned backsplash and warm wood cabinetry adds another layer of interest and a subtle backdrop to rest of the space. The large paneled island connects the cooking and eating spaces and creates a central gathering hub.
